Footoon Aqua Master RTA V2
For a long time I wanted to get acquainted with this brand, originally from Korea, probably southern))) Since I had heard about the “feats of their military men” and from the local inhabitants, and surveyors praised the previous products, although there were very few of them. Looking ahead, I’ll say that I expected much more – perhaps this played a cruel joke with me.

Appearance was not marked by anything outstanding – it looks like a pretty classic tank. However, the overall impression was extremely positive – I suppose that the lion’s share of blame for this is of a special color. In my case, it is brushed steel, I specifically chose it, because in the photo he was the most personal. The wake came even more decently.
Pre-installed drip type 80th, made of resin. The work is quite normal, but there is no recess for collecting condensate inside. Oddly enough, the bundle also has an instance for MTL – without an adapter, also the 810th. It is already made of delrin, the inner diameter of almost 5mm. And that’s it, I think, it’s all said) It also does not saturate with condensate, but its capacity is more likely designed for low-fat single-coil ones. Moreover, putting your favorite 510th out of the box will not work – there is no adapter. Will have to borrow from other instances.
The cap is on the thread, it is not to say long, it’s convenient to get into it, twist it too – cuts on the ribs to help. I do not press underneath it, and indeed I really liked how it was made – clearly, reliably. You can even twist it and let it go, and it itself will get out, although in the extreme position it is fixed reliably due to the oring. The filling holes are huge. The internal processing of the dome is more reminiscent of a cone, its inner diameter is 17mm, the shaft diameter is 5.5mm.
Capacity can be considered average rather than decent. And this is also subject to the use of complete dough glass.
The deck is very peculiar. We observe two racks for the correct fixation of only one spiral. The distance between them is about 9mm. Hexagon screws, similar spare.
Apparently you will immediately have to talk about adjusting the airflow. There are as many as three of its options. And the most interesting thing is that, in fact, it is as if not regulated by tightness. Turning the ring only slightly opens the next airflow. It’s quite difficult to imagine the work by design, and in fact, figuring out where which channel is and how it opens is not so simple. The stroke of the adjustment ring is quite tight – a relief ornament to help.
The following diagram shows an approximate principle of operation. In the extreme right position, the airflow is completely blocked – “yeah, right now” the air intake is very decent, I would even say this is akin to a fairly free MTL. We move further to the second risk – mtl (two small holes on the deck directly under the coil), and the draw is very loose, you can even try to draw directly into the lungs. The third risk is already dtl (a semicircular hole at the bottom of the deck), but it is already tight for a conventional tank on one spiral, therefore the steam is somewhat hot. The fourth risk is the loosest puff (hole in one of the racks), since by design this is the furthest hole in the blower, probably the only purpose of its creation is bulk, perhaps to some extent to cool the steam. As you correctly guessed, the taste of this blowing only spoils,
There are still two things to understand. The first – this type of “adjustment” suggests that each subsequent blowing hole is added to the previous one. That is, on the second risk there are two points, on the third two points + a semicircular hole, on the fourth there is the whole “booth” in chorus. It is impossible to use them separately (except for mtl mode). The second thing to consider is that, as such, the adjustment of stiffness (namely stiffness!) Is absent in each mode. That is, you can open one or another airflow only at full power, the adjustment according to the developers’s plan is only this – either open or close the corresponding hole.
And this is perhaps the most unpleasant moment for me personally – for MTL (the first risk), the puff is too loose. For dtl, the second risk is taut, but not so much, but the steam is hot. In the fourth position, I am too free, and the taste is lost. In short, not all about me (((
Let’s try to return to the deck. Now about her service. This procedure is very simple, however, as for me, the blowing holes are scattered across the deck very far from each other. If you position the coil directly above two points, it smears a semicircular hole. If you place the coil closer to the last, then the points are no longer peeling down, but casually along the side of the spiral. I had to look for a middle ground – well, so that both wolves and sheep … And I still am silent about the third hole directly on the counter, before it from the coil then in general, as if on foot to China. I’ll say a few words about the installation of the MTL spiral – in spite of the distance between the racks, you can shorten it here.
Laying cotton wool is a simple matter, places are reserved for these purposes normally. However, the recharge holes are very small. Of course, I understand that the developers wanted to “fuck” two birds with one stone – not to overflow MTL and not to dry MTL. And if the first, in principle, succeeded, then the second I think is not particularly. Perhaps I screwed a too “fat” spiral (although it was only 0.25Ω), or I didn’t put cotton wool “in a Christian way” (although everything seemed to be excellent), but now and then starvation arose. I could not attribute it to laying cotton wool, since the bubbles were solid. I will not say that this happened often, and I will write it down directly, but it happened exactly with a relatively continuous “steam train”.
It remains to tell about the flavor. First about dtl – there is a good taste, but it’s definitely not the kind to boast at every corner. Normal, not particularly bright, you can distinguish the ingredients of the liquid. But on MTL, the taste is unexpectedly average too, not ideal of course, but present. Moreover, the level of TX is so acidic at the same time. Perhaps if you still play with the spirals, you can catch something decent. For example, in the case of MTL, let it go, for I raised the coil for TX, and its level is such that it can be reduced, and get an increase in taste transfer. But here the lack of banal adjustment of blowing discourages any desire for any creeps in this direction.
